This Book Has Worms In It!: The Getaway By Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen

This was a short one I completed one afternoon while watching paint dry and mutely watching my kids practice Tibetan Monk Throat Singing.

I thought I was in for some horror-like made-up monkey-shit stuff. Something along the lines of demonic possession or mutant woodland creatures.

But no.

I got reality horror.

It was legitimately like listening to a Lifetime Movie without going in too deep. One with terrific acting, and you could even envision the cut scenes to the past events that led up to the characters present.

I’m not saying don’t listen to it, but if you’re doing laundry or at a four-year-old birthday party, even if it’s your own kids’ party and want to pass the time, give it a go.
