I Am Loose All The Time: Bahamas – All The Time

I got all the time in the world

Don’t you want some of that?

Bahamas – All The Time

What sound does time make? Does it bend and bow like the loose strings on a guitar being strum by a feather? Water droplets on a drum; rapid eye movements following a plastic bag invading a leaf tornado?

After a long day, I like to put some music on. As of late (and permanently), I have the habit of listening to my usual playlist while getting good and getting in a little dancy dance.

Stole hearts with these dance moves

Today “my station” played Bahamas, a band that I’ve never heard of with a very non-typical sound that I liked right from the start. It’s something I would sing after a night of barhopping while walking to the subway at 2 am.

Hoodie zipped, keys held tightly in my hand, belching this out until I find a 24-hour deli lit up like Christmas to buy a pack of smokes. That was “once upon a time” stuff. When no one wanted none of that. I’m the only one who did.
