Turd T-Shirt Thursday: Caught In The Purple Rain After Working up A Black Sweat
I’m not your lover
I’m not your friend
I am something that you’ll never comprehend
No need to worry
No need to cry
I’m your messiah and you’re the reason why, ’cause
You, I would die for you, yeah
Darling, if you want me too
I would die for you
I Would Die 4 U Prince and The Revolution
Dear Turd T-Shirt Thursday, We are gathered here today to get through this thing called “life”. Grab me a towel, I need to get the black sweat off my upper lip.

The memories of watching “Purple Rain” on the weekends as a tween, my mother’s absolute love for this movie, and how it was deemed a good movie were a head-scratcher to me. I didn’t grow up in the dawn of Prince, only his sunset. In all honesty, I felt this movie was a legitimate comedy. The domestic violence made me flip that switch and realize this movie was something more.
My fandom isn’t deep. I have a respectable admiration for Prince and his works. His guitar playing, style, unfiltered unapologetic attitude all made him a star!
It has been some time since I’ve seen the film. The only parts I like is when Prince and The Revolution perform “Darling Nikki,” and I die laughing every time from all the people’s reaction in the audience. Take the time to watch this if you haven’t for a while or at all.
I want to thank @Nicks_New_Wave_Video for the awesome shirt that I won in a giveaway!
